Savoury items such as sausage rolls, jams and chutneys are also a big hit and there are some great fruits around at the moment. See KEY DATES for cake making/dropping instructions.

Fete Fringe

New to the fete in 2019! Just when you thought it couldn't get any better! The Fete Fringe zone includes: The amazing Haunted Cave;

Six Classic Carnival Games (High Striker, Jaffa Cracker, Lucky Duck, Carnival Clown, Chuck a duck, Clown Pie); Circus moustaches & 3D tattoos; Paint Spinner; Circus Food and The Golden Ticket prize for Best Dressed Circus Costume! The Fete Fringe is a ticketed zone - same tickets as for rides.

Fete Bar

In its seventh year now, the Fete bar offers beer, wine and cider from 2-7pm.  All our volunteers have a responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certificate. Come over and enjoy an informal drink in the bar area with old and new friends while your children have a sugar-fuelled play in the school playground.

Better than Bunnings, the BBQ stand will be selling bacon and egg rolls, sausage sandwiches and burgers. Just try to resist.

Choc or Drop

Who doesn't love chocolate! Winning is easy. If your gold coin lands on the stack of chocolate then you WIN that stack! $1 for one throw. $2 for two throws.

The Choc or Drop stall would like to take the opportunity to thank the Albert Park community in advance for your generous donations on Socks n Chocs Day coming up on Feb 28th (more information soon). Your amazing contributions make the stall possible.

An APPS favorite for kids & parents alike - every year we sell a huge variety of gorgeous pre-loved toys including baby toys, puzzles, dolls, teddies, board games, action figures, costumes and so much more! All are pre-loved but in amazing condition and looking for a new home!

Vintage Clothing & More

Find yourself a vintage gem at our pre-loved stall – clothes, bags, shoes, accessories - everything old is new again! Start your clean out now and donate your pre-loved goodness to the fete (because who has time or patience for eBay?). Please note: if you would not give it to your best friend then don’t give it to us. We pride ourselves in a beautifully curated stall. Drop items to school hall.

Lucky Jars

Lucky Jars are recycled jars filled with treats, crafts, pom-poms, beanie boos, lego, erasers, pencils, shopkins, footie cards, jewellery, toy cars, beads, figurines, stickers, hair accessories… the possibilities are endless!

Priced at $1, $2, $3 and $5 our lucky jars are the bargain of the fete and a big favourite with kids - they not only love contributing to this stall but also buying something their friends have made.  We encourage you to re-cycle goodies no longer needed as this is in-keeping with our sustainability policy and a great opportunity to clean out cupboards and pass on your trash for someone else’s treasure.

Tips for making your Lucky Jar:

Pick a theme to appeal to the Lucky Jar connoisseur such as a movie or book theme, animals, sport, pampering, stationery, craft activities, games etc.

All items must be clean and safe and any lollies should be in wrappers.

Fill jars and decorate creatively. The most attractive jars sell first!

Be sure to put your name and class on the bottom of each jar.

Lucky Jars can be dropped to your classroom from Monday 10th February.

Judging will take place after school on Thursday 27th February.

Lucky Jar Prizes

The maker of the BEST Lucky Jar from each class will win a voucher for a Jock’s ice cream.

Jock’s judging criteria includes creative ideas using re-cycled items, eye-catching decoration and quality contents.

Save your books! As a school community of readers and book-lovers we want and need more good quality second-hand children's books for both our library and fete book stall.  Please save all of your pre-loved children's and adult books!   Every book that is donated to the school goes to a new home and helps stretch our library budget.

Beautiful APPS Hampers are created entirely from donations made by APPS parents and raffled off on Fete day to very lucky winners!

Please bring gourmet items such as jams, pickles, crackers, olive oil, olives, coffee, tea, wine, champagne, chocolate, cook books, a chopping board or serving plate for collection in the 'Hamper Donations”' box located in your child’s class.

All items are appreciated and we also encourage parents to get together and pool money for a hamper item. i.e. instead of a small item you may get a cook book or a more expensive food item or a voucher for a restaurant.

Tickets are priced at $5.00 each and each child will bring home five tickets to sell. Sell as many as you can to family, friends and neighbours and please collect additional tickets from the office if you are particularly successful! When selling tickets please make sure a name and telephone number is written on the butt of each ticket sold.

Return ticket butts and money to the office by Fete Day Saturday 29th February. That we can continue to sell them on fete day.

You can help out by making a donation and by selling raffle tickets prior to and on the big day.
